Rob Lord came to London in 1987 and has been a professional musician producer and composer ever since. He has toured and recorded for a number of high profile groups playing keyboards and guitar for Dodgy, The Primitives, Voice Of The Beehive, The Conells and Paul Oakenfold's Grace whom Rob wrote the UK hit You're Not Mine and toured with Michael Jackson. Rob also had his own bands Vagabond Joy and Starpower signed to EMI and Rough Trade respectively.
Over the past 13 years Rob has branched out into the fields of music for film, television and advertising.

Feature Films
In April 2004 Rob finished the score to Slipstream his first Hollywood feature film which stars Sean Astin (The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy) and Vinnie Jones (Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, The Mean Machine). The film is a Sci-Fi action heist movie with a score that moves from gentle orchestral electronica to operatic aria through alt-country and Radiohead style feedback workouts. Slipstream was released in 2005 and picked up two awards at the London Sci-Fi festival of that year. Since returning from scoring Slipstream in Los Angeles Rob has scored a number of dramatic and interesting shorts including Hitchcock's Gas for director Sylvie Bolioli, Strange Little Girls a teenage girls coming of age story with director Savina Delicour for Film Four as part of the Cinema Extreme series, The Sound Of Silence with director James Appleton for Screen East and most recently Phobias a surreal drama directed by Bert and Bertie for the Film Council and Spool Films starring Paul Kaye (Match Point, It's All Gone Pete Tong). Most recently Rob has been commissioned to score two Hollywood horror features based on the 80’s classic Pumpkinhead and starring Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Dead Man, The Terminator) and Doug Bradley (Hellraiser series).Commercials
Rob's music has featured in numerous commercials including Pilsner Urquell with director Stuart Rideout of RSA Films, the worldwide Braun Activator campaign for Lowe and Partners, Sugar Puffs for Rainey Kelly with director Eden Diebel, Olympus for Lowe and Partners, Coca-Cola for Publicis, Burger King, Wheetos, Playjam for Lowe and Partners and Pilkington Glass with Eden Diebel.Television
Television work has included music for the eight part BBC reality drama series African School for Lion Television, In The Wild With Julia Roberts for Tiger Aspect and Daring Himself, a half hour documentary for Sky with director Joe Cain. Rob has also scored two complete six part series of documentaries for the Discovery Channel called Personal Journeys with Coast Productions and has provided idents for Channel Four and Men and Motors among others.Theatre, Video Games, Art Installations, Animations
Along the way Rob has also composed for art installations, numerous theatre productions, animations including Vortex with Dave Daniels of Tandem Films and video games including number one titles Wipeout, Toca Race Driver and Discworld. Rob's music will soon be heard in his score for the forthcoming Eidos title Just Cause which is set to be one of the biggest games of 2006.
Rob has produced remixes for Catatonia, Shriekback, The French, Ant and he releases his own Krautrock influenced music under the name Ausgang as well as contributing to a number of Mute Records compilations of Electronica.
